Medicines with side effects

Taking medication regularly can increase with age. Some medicines, in particular those for inflammation and allergies, painkillers and medicines for high blood pressure and depression, can lead to a permanently dry mouth. Medicines can also make themselves felt on the teeth or on the mucous membrane. In part these are unsightly but harmless discolorations. They can, however, also be a sign of more serious damage.
