Electric or by hand? The question is the wrong one

The question of which brush cleans better is misleading. Both achieve a good result if the technique is right and there is enough time.

An electric brush takes over part of the movement. That helps especially where mobility is limited — with children, with older people, after a stroke. But it does not replace the system: with it too, every surface has to be addressed individually.

The best brush is the one that actually gets used twice a day for two minutes. Everything else is secondary.
